I would like to thank all of my volunteers and supporters in the race for the governing board of the Northern Humboldt Union High School District. It took all of you to make my candidacy possible.
As a community, we have accomplished great things. I look forward to working with the board, parents, students, teachers and staff to continue improving our schools. Thank you.

My three children owe their success to the great foundation of knowledge, skills and perspective they received from our high school district — my youngest graduated this year. Today, our school district faces many challenges needing creative solutions. I am asking you to elect me to the Northern Humboldt Union High School District board as your advocate so that your kids may continue to receive the same fine education as mine did.Throughout my career I have championed struggling organizations to preserve their programs and build upon their strengths to expand opportunities for North Coast students through grants and sponsorships, and always a balanced budget.
